Alfahay, Probiotic Alfalfa, 50 LBs

Alfahay comes in a 50 pound bag and is the closest thing to fresh cut alfalfa.  Alfahay is a NON-GMO alfalfa.  Alfahay is for horses, cattle, pigs, deer, goats, sheep, birds, and exotics.   Unlike other feeds that are dried, Alfahay is cut and packed with its natural moisture.  This locks in all the fresh nutrition of the plant.  Alfahay then undergoes a fermentation process after being bagged to produce beneficial yeasts and bacteria.  That's why we call it "Probiotic Alfalfa In A Bag." Alfahay aids in higher milk production due to having more nutrients available for absorption. The natural fermentation process predigests the alfalfa, which allows your animal to absorb and receive more of the vital nutrients. Feeding Alfahay helps minimize airborne dust and mold since this product is a natural, moist forage.  Alfahay helps increase brain function by increasing essential amino acids and promotes healthier, well-nourished skin. 

Feeding Directions:

Alfahay is to be used for the portion of the animal's roughage intake. The normal intake per day is very different from animal to animal. Age, condition, workload, and other feed intakes will factor into how much Alfahay the animal eats per day. Start by feeding 1 pound per hundred weight per day to horses and equivalent sized animals. Feed 2 pounds per hundred weight per day to smaller animals like deer, goats, and sheep. Gradually (over 7-14 days) increase the quantity until you feel the desired condition of the animal is achieved. Alfahay is not to be used as the only source of feed.
